T-Shirt Braniff Sheppard Collection 1981 Texas Class 727 Ultra Burgundy Beige
MADE IN THE USA for BRANIFF INTERNATIONAL. In 1981, Braniff International simplified its fare structure and began offering Texas Class service over its domestic route system. The classic 1978 Ultra Color Scheme was adopted in 1978 and a Braniff 727 painted in the Burgundy Ultra Color Scheme, is perfectly depicted with this classic T-Shirt, which is available in Medium, Large, XL, XXL and 3XL. The 1978 Burgundy Color Scheme is beautifully captured on this all-cotton t-shirt from the Elizabeth A. Sheppard Braniff International T-Shirt Collection.
All proceeds from the sale of these fine cotton shirts are donated to Braniff Airways Foundation to support its Braniff Airways preservation projects. The Foundation is an IRS registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization.
We feature the only authorized and licensed Braniff Airways products. The Braniff Airways logos and likenesses are registered trademarks of Braniff Airways, Inc., all rights reserved.
Our original Braniff 727 Ultra Texas Class t-shirt features Braniff's discount Texas Class service and discount fares along with a Braniff Boeing 727-200 painted in the 1978 Burgundy Ultra Color Scheme. This striking color scheme was announced in November 1976, which was designed jointly by Braniff's industrial design firm Harper and George as well as Cars and Concepts, a race car and aftermarket firm based in Michigan as well as color and design in put by Halston, who had also designed the carrier's new Ultra Employee Uniforms to go along with the new paint schemes and interior redesigns. This impressive design is screened on a 100% cotton shirt.
