The NEW Braniff book!
by Richard Benjamin Cass
Braniff Flying Colors takes you on a colorful flight through the formidable history of the famed Dallas, Texas, based Braniff Airways, Inc., that strategically transformed itself from a small multi-purpose carrier into a major international airline that spanned the globe all-the-while melding the often mysterious world of aviation with the avant-garde fields of art, fashion, and design.
The NEW Braniff Book details the small beginnings of Braniff in Oklahoma, followed by its meteoric rise to the top of its field during the 1960s and 1970s. Over 170 black and white and color photos, most never before seen, will enchant you during your flight with Braniff Airways. Special attention has been afforded what is considered Braniff’s most prominent era, 1965 through 1980, which was heralded in with the revolutionary End of the Plain Plane Campaign.
The author, Richard Benjamin Cass, is a 30-year industry veteran and airline pilot. He established Braniff Airways Foundation to protect, preserve and promote the legacy and history of Braniff Airways. He has authored over 3000 articles on the history of Braniff and promotes the airline daily through social media and other special events.
